Using the site

These terms cover this site and everything on it. By using it you accept them; if you don’t, please don’t use it. The site is run by me, Jonathan Rashi, in Tel Aviv, Israel.

What the site is, and isn’t

The site shows my work and how to reach me. Nothing on it is an offer to work together, a quote or a commitment, and that includes what it says about my availability and the work I take on. Any work starts only under a separate agreement that we both sign. Case studies describe projects as they were when I wrote them, and some details are left out on purpose.

The assistant

Ask about Jonathan is an AI model, Google’s Gemini, answering from a profile I wrote. It isn’t me, and it can be wrong, out of date or incomplete.

  • Its answers aren’t my words. They aren’t offers, quotes, prices, promises or advice, and they don’t bind me. For anything that matters, email me.
  • Don’t share personal or confidential information with it, yours or anyone else’s. The privacy policy explains where it goes.
  • Use it for what it’s for. Don’t try to get around its rules, pull out its instructions, flood it with requests or use it to make anything unlawful or harmful.
  • It’s for people 18 and over.
  • I may limit it, change it or switch it off at any time.

Who owns what

The site’s design, code, text, drawings and pictures, the case studies, my signature and my logo belong to me, or to whoever licensed them to me. The products, interfaces and screenshots in the case studies belong to the companies behind them and appear with their permission.

Other companies’ names and marks, such as Figma, Claude, Codex, Spotify, Last.fm and GIPHY, belong to them. They’re here to name the tools I use and the work I did, and don’t mean that those companies endorse me or have anything to do with the site. Fonts and code libraries are used under their own licenses, listed on the credits page.

What you can do with it

You’re welcome to link to any page, share it, and quote short parts with credit and a link back. Search engines and AI assistants may read the site and llms.txt to answer questions about me.

Please don’t copy the design, code or content wholesale, publish it as your own, or scrape the site to train models or build datasets without my written permission. Right-clicking my signature copies it as an SVG, for fun: don’t use it to sign anything, to pass as me or to brand something else.

GIFs, memes and other people’s work

The GIFs and memes on the site, such as the GIPHY ones on the home page and in my notes, belong to their owners. They’re here as commentary and for fun. If you own one and want it credited differently or taken down, email me and I’ll sort it out quickly.

Using the site fairly

Don’t try to break into the site, overload it, get around its limits or test its security without asking. If you find a security problem, please email me before telling anyone else, and thank you.

No promises about the site

I build this site with care, but it comes as it is. I don’t promise that it will always be available, free of errors or up to date. Its content is general information about me and my work, not professional advice.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, I’m not liable for any loss that comes from using the site, from relying on it or on the assistant’s answers, or from not being able to use it, including indirect losses and lost profits. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn’t let me limit.

Other sites

Links to other sites are there for convenience. I don’t control those sites and I’m not responsible for what’s on them.

Changes

I may change the site and these terms at any time. The date beside them shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it.

Law and courts

Israeli law governs these terms and the site, and the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa alone decide any dispute about them. If you’re a consumer and the law where you live gives you rights that can’t be waived, you keep them.
